How To Make Affiliate Sales In 15 Minutes

By Dan Farrell

If you are one of the 98.6% of affiliate members that never make one cent from affiliate sales or making small $5.00, $10.00 commissions, then this article is for you. Even if you are making nice checks, this will still interest you.

You really can start to make affiliate sales in 15 minutes with Google Adwords.

Your ads will start appearing within 15 minutes for the keywords you have selected. If this has you scratching your head :o) I don't blame you. I was totally new to Adwords until I read about Chris Carpenter's experience in making $3,405 with just one ad in his very good ebook GoogleCash.

You know those ads on the right side of the page of Google's  search page? Well those are Adwords. You pay per click with the minimum of .05, which is less than Overture's .10 PPC. Placement of your ad is based on two factors, the Cost Per Click and your ad's Click Through Rate (CTR).

I have set my maximum CPC from .05 -.50 and the daily budget $10.00 (don't worry what you set your click rate as since the daily budget limits your cost) until I see that the keywords I've selected are working and the affiliate program is making sales. I wait until there are 50-100 clicks for each ad before deleting unproductive keywords or scrap the ad all together.

Of course, your decision as to what to bid will be based on what the going bids are. You don't want to be lower than the first 8 ads, as that is the number Google allows per page and you want to be on the first page.

Create more than one ad per group and don't include too many keywords (I try to limit kw's to 5-10 per ad) as you won't be able to properly assess the kw's effectiveness. Plus you can do 'split testing' easily this way and find the right words and headlines. Google gives you how many clicks and the % of impressions to clicks so it's real easy to determine the ads (creatives) effectiveness.

Side Note: Include your primary kw in the headline and body as it will increase your ad's clickthrough rate.

To cut through a lot of learning curve,  there are two fantastic products, one is the Adword Generator. This will create your ads in a jiff and find profitable keywords and phrases. It also has a very thrifty Profit Calculator so you instantly know how your campaign is doing. You can waste a lot of money if you don't follow your Adwords closely, at least in the first few days.

The other is a software tool, Keyword Results Analyzer. I can't say enough good things about this tool! It will take the kw's you find at Wordtracker, filter them to find kw's with little to 0 competition and enough searches to make some money. If you can't get a top ten Google listing with 0 competition something's wrong :o)

Identifying niche markets is one of the biggest keys to making money online. Keyword Results Analyzer and Wordtracker will will save money, time and most importantly find the keywords and phrases that have 'hungry buyers' waiting for your affiliate product :o) To find an affiliate program for the keyword,  go to Commission Junction (the best) or another affiliate network solution provider, www.Linkshare.com, www.CommissionSoup.com

With Google Adwords you can get click-throughs within minutes and if targeted to the right prospect with the right product, sales in minutes.
